Has anyone got any idea...why my RCA cables have ground wires coming out of them?! On both ends, HU connection end and the AMP connection end.

those arent ground wires, they're remote wires. they do that for conveinience.

Although it isnt that convenient since my remote input and rca inputs are on opposite sides of my amp

if you look at the picture, you can notice that they give you quite a bit of slack on one end. a lot of amps have the RCAs on the opposite side.

Why in my amp wiring kit is there another remote wire, its very thin and blue? Why is there two if I only need one

Something very very! important arrived on a FedEx truck this morning =D....The other sub will be here on monday, I ended up having to order it offline, rather thn in the store, because they dont sell that infinity model anymore. I am very pleased with the final outcome, with just this one sub! It hits very nicely both for a everyday driver and for a bass hog, lol. What are your thoughts?

I was looking for some carpet-alternatives for my box. Thinking about just painting it black and throwing a lot of clear coat on it for some good gloss.. still in the thinking stage though.

Well I'm hoping @ night it looks sexy, I do believe the blue bar across it lights up blue...so it should look sleek lol.

No trust me, if I could recommend a covering material for any box, I would most often recommend Vinyl...the pictures dont do it justice, you're right. But it is very sexy trust me.

It's very quick and easy...though I dont know what you're working with. Like for instance my box was a pain in the *** to put in my trunk, so if I had to take it back out to cover it...it wouldnt even happen haha.

LOL. I don't really have a problem with taking my box out. Its just that the wires inside my box connectin the the VCs were just long enough. So having to take it out would mean having to struggle to wire it again. Wonder if its worth taking the sub out of the box to cover it..
