if you dident notice that was bottoming out the first time you heard it then yes, you are slow

if you can hear it in a video you can hear it 10x more in person...

but atleast ya fixed it, what 12" did you have before?

Sounds like something wasn't right...I have a friend that beats 4 1008a hard daily...on 750 each...sounds like you had the 1008's..not a's...Those weren't made properly...That is when DD started their base line speakers...i lot of problems...Then they went to the a's and a big improvement with the bumped magnet...now the 1500's are like WOW //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The bumped magnet? Is that where there's the little 'bubble' on the bottom?

2 Hifonics lower end. I wasn't too surprised with the output being better with these.

i dont think anyone stated they were indestructible

I know no one stated it, but some of the people in the 'DD is second to none' sure do seem like DD is indestructible.

I agree they are great subs, but to a certain extent. Some of the things I have read make me believe that the people think they're the best things in the world, and nothing else can beat them, hands down. BUT, some of these people also haven't tried subs of the same caliber.

I've put 1500+ to my DD 1508's without issues.....They loved the Atomic 5000.1 on 4 which is over 1000 each...I've never blown an 8...though I did rip a surround on one once at gator drags //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but the sub worked fine

I remember seeing the video of your Rex with your 4 1508's in it, I think it was the 1508's anyway. Do you know what ever happened to that video? I've looked all over for it.

I'm not sure...I think maybe skip or someone made it
