I quit using p2p quite awhile back because of slow download speeds and low bitrates. Been using newsgroups and is much better in my opinion. I use INFOnews to find recently posted files and then get to downloading. I usually have 8 downloads going at a time at anywhere from 120 to 180kbps.

I use alot of different ones but winmx has always been a favorite for music. being able to see what others are sharing and havin a queue are the best features. trading is easy for the hard to get stuff. When you got 50 gigs of **** and 30 gigs of racing videos, theres always something someone wants. Winmx rules.

Go here for a list of Win/Linux/Mac p2p apps. iMesh was always pretty fast when I was on fat pipe at school.

You can also use Madster, formally Aimster, before AOL took rights to the name.

I myself use IRC, just thought I'd give those options.

used to run my own DC hub, but now I have a router and Hub in house and it blocks me fro doing it now, so I am not sure, cause there is so many songs I need to DL since my 72 pack CD case was jacked last month
