Multiple battery question

I'm getting ready to add two stinger sp 680's to my setup, how do I add those two batteries to my system(keeping my stock battery also)?

Well, since you got all the answers einstein, what I really want to know is would it be safe to wire the two stingers together then only fuse the wire closest to the stock battery and the wire running from the stingers to my amps?

yes that is just fine make sure you do the Big 3 as well.

the fuses are to protect the batteries so if you dont mind possibly messing up the back battery cause of a short the by all means go ahead and fuse it at the front battery .after all its just a battery that could explode and cause burns along with a fire . stupid noob

I think thats just fine. Im doing just like that and I know alot of people who do it like that also.

use two fuses on the positive (+)wire going from the front to the rear. Its more of a safety issue than anything.

if you ever get in a crash or some how short that wire you WILL start a fire in your car and then have a lot worse problems on your hand. not to mention you will ruin your batteries in the trunk since they will likely drain entirely upon a short circuit and possibly even explode or catch on fire themselves.

if your not going to do it right don't do it at all. better safe than sorry

I bet you can find a fuse holder and fuse for under $20 on this forum or possible even bnib from sonix or woofersetc....
