i bought a multimeter and it wont configure properly...says turn on, set to 0, touch test leads together and use the ohm dial to hit 0...well im doin that and the needle does not move at all...not 1 mm...any idea whats goin on?

first i recommend you get a digital dmm.

needels are only good for seeing changes in voltage & other stuff ect. ect.

but all you should have to do is put it on your lowest "ohm" setting witch could be 200 or 20 whatever. and measure the positive and negative leads. should come up 4 or 2 or whatever your driver is as long as its not fried
