wow cops don't like a loud muffler by you slammed? that sucks. here in Tx if they were picky you'd see people pulled over on every corner lol.

had a true dual exhuast with flowmaster 40's on my dak before it was totalled. that shit was loud as hell then again it was a low profile truck with turndown dual flowmaster 40's. i'll take the subtle noise of the MS6 i'm getting soon though.

first get rid of the high flow cat and go back to stock because it is not necessary and will quiet it down some. secondly it will be loud no matter what because your muffler is straight through which is like no muffler at all plus it is 2.5". honestly the only exhaust thatsounds like stock but still sees performance is an rsr exhaust. also you can just add resonators.

these guys here are saying that Im complaining about nothing...but I guarantee that they would not last a couple of weeks with all that noise around here.

A Question For Everyone....would the size of the muffler's body make a difference with how loud it is?

for example:

I have a muffler that is 14" in length

I am looking at teh same brand muffler, but its 20" in length.

would that be less noisey?

interesting question lol. i' imagine the longer would be less loud. is it worth a 40 dollar shot in the dark, yes. my happy for today was listening to the vid file for the downpipe i hope to get for my ms6 and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Hye dude u can go over to summit and do some searching(cuz I forgot what they call them)it is just a insert that u put at the back of the muffler and creates lil or no extra back presure. If u do decide to go with a different muffler,try a Flowmaster hushpowers they have a nice lil mellow tone,or look at the 70 series..IIRC the are just a light duty performance muffler.Or u can say screw it and just thro a dynomax bullet on there
