Hi Guys,
I need a little help understanding SPL...
I bought a pair of these MTX 5500 subs from a garage sale in a box for a good price that I couldn't pass up. I've had the PG Ti 12's sitting NIB in my closet all these years waiting for a project to put them in.
I was running both sets of subs through WinISD to see what kind of ballpark output I would be getting.
On a typical ported box the MTX's put out around 92db while the PG's only get around 89db.. ? I thought the PG would be the better out of the 2 subs?
Which would be louder/better in the real world? I thought PG > MTX? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
Thanks for any help in advance!
