I have a setup with an MTX Thunder 81000d Amplifier pumping two MTX Thunder 8000 12"s. I think there's too much power to the subwoofers and it's not pumping as I like it... What subwoofers should I get to power them well with my amplifier? My Amplifier supposedly pumps out around 500w - 780w... My subwoofers only handle 400w RMS... Give me your opinions... Thanks Guys~!

Also I have hooked up a PPI 1 farad capacitor, and when I turn up my bumping music, the interior and headlights dim with the music... What's wrong with the power? Should the capacitor prevent that problem?

How is it "Not pumping as you like it"? What does it sound like? Are you sure you don't have them wired backwards? Check your Xover on the amp. Don't run the bass boost too high, it causes distortion. It'd not too much power for your subs, btw.

My whole setup is wired and functioning properly... The cap is fully charged and functioning also... What I meant my system wasn't bumping the way I want it to, is because the subwoofers go thud on hard hitting spots... The crossovers are good, everything is fine, I'm thinking too much power is working on the subs... Even the center where the emblem is, popped out the glue behind it...

lol dont be harsh i have read a few post from cybe and so far he heading in the right direction //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif HELPING PEOPLE! OMG

You can wire those subs up @8 ohms if they are both SVC4 ohm subs, and that amp will run fine after being tuned properly...

No need to bypass the amp. Most use an LOC that takes the full amped signal and turns it into a flat RCA level signal. Here is the newest I have...
