mtx 7500 > type R ???

cvr's are a nice sub. I'd say if you're interested in running sealed go cvr. my friend has a single 12 cvr and it sounds pretty **** good off of like 3-400rms. If you're interested in ported, type-r and get some earplugs.

MTX FTL imo..

well **** if its that loud then thats what he should get. hes trying to beat my set up lol. all i have is a sealed rsd of about 6-700 rms. If he gets the ported type r will i even come close 2 being as loud?

thanks for the help. but how would two sealed cvr's compare to a ported type R

first system in my rsx: 2 12'' CVR's sealed ( about 1.3 cubes per chamber) off 300 rms to each sub.

2nd system in my rsx: 1 12'' type R ported (2.7 cubes @ 32 hz)

sq: R by far on this one, gets lower and sounds better doing it

spl: R but not by much

overall: i enjoy the type R much more over the 2 CVR's. The R performs better musically and gets a tad bit louder imo. No numbers to prove me wrong though
