if u set the gains with a dmm and use 0 bass boost and then decide to use it after setting gains doesnt that send more power to your subs causing too much power or clipping to the subs correct if so whats the point

i use the bass knob because some songs dont have any bass at all, and some have too much. so i set my gains with the bass knob in the middle and then have a little up and down if you know what i mean. just be careful with your subs, you know when you are abusing them.
