Mt 18"

prolly bout 500, size... i dunno, a shit load. Electrical... $$$. You sure you know what you are getting yourself into //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ?

Hoenstly bud I would look into another direction this is going in a crx right? I just think if your not gona comp with it and just use it as a daily get 2 12's or 1 12' maybe 1 15 that 18 needs alot of room, and if you do one 12 with a large box compared to the 18 with a small box, your gona save a sht load on price alone not to mention the 12 might sound better and louder.

Agreed. From what I hear (This is what convinced me to go with 12") the bigger the sub, the lower bass it is meant for. In other words, the higher pitched bass will be harder to achieve. This is just from what I have heard. I know for a fact you would probably get better sq with the 12"s.

Ok if your getting an 18" MT you will probably need somewhere around 8-10cubic ft maybe more for a ported box. Now the amp. A good amp maybe an Orion 2500d will cost you around $500. But why get one when I heard this thing can do like 5,000rms and like 10,000for burps? So I would get two Orions. Then the electrical. Im not sure how much your alternator will cost but my price quote for my 05 expedition was $325 for a 250alt. Then we can for get about wires and all that which is probably the cheapest thing you will need. So just that subwoofer and a good amp will cost you near $1,000 and a good chance it will exceed $1,000.

what you hear and your facts are both wrong:rolleyes:

Everything you just said is, for the most part, completely wrong.
