And gave me a little present. Got my pair of R12s in, figured I'd ask you folks something.

The surround is like, molded a lot differently than before. I knew this before buying the sub, but seeing it in person has kind of confused me a little more. Now, say the sub has a ton of use on it... wouldn't the surround start to crack around the edges of the round molding, versus a round curved surround of standard woofers?

Just thought I'd ask.

It's all folded up.

Yeah, I know.

I started college classes this week, and I work third shift, so my time available is very minimal. Here's the kicker. My girlfriend goes to college on saturday, and I promised her I'd make her a foot locker for her to lock her laptop and dvds in so she doesn't have to worry about other folks stealing it. Right now, I'm working on that. I'm hoping tomorrow after I get done with work around 8 am I can finish the whole thing by noon... That way I can start on my little toy.

I just remembered I need a bigger fuse now since my amp will be running at 1 ohm finally... 1,100 RMS, what should I get? 100 amp? 120 amp?

Any input on the cone design? It almost seems wierd to me that something looking like... that... could sound as good as most folks say. Don't get me wrong, I love the design. It just doesn't appear at first glance to be that functional.
