mtx vs alpine

R's for SPLX for SQL
actually no....the R's im my opinion beat the X's in both.....149 TL 5.0 cu....32Hz....sounds like both to me. i think the X's look cool with the carbon fiber and all, but the R's are the better choice , besides not everyone can put 2000 rms on them...most of us dont have that kinda power for everyday street bangin. not to mention the X is extremly inefficient! take 2 R's vs. 2 X's the 2 R's would need less power to put up if not the same or better numbers than the X woud. but also depending on the layout and install of the system, but for the avg joe, R's woud be the better choice...
