moving car sub to the home

move the sub...you can put a sub anywhere.. its omnidirectional--meaning that the human ear can't tell where the sound is coming from at low frequencies.. you can feel the bass and you guess where its coming from.. put it against a wall or in a corner to prevent cancellation--also make sure there's a lowpass filter on the sub..

 
Im thinking about buying about 10 bucking magnets, glueing them end to end, adding a back plate and top plate and pole....attaching it to a basket, getting a really long tube to use as a coil former, adding spider and cone and surround... Mini LMT in reverse basically....lol. wonder how it will work.
