Mounting Sundown amp upside down?

Hey guys I will be getting my Sundown 1500 in the next few days and I was wondering if I would be able to mount it upside down and make a plexi plate to showcase off the inside/guts of the amp...It will be mounted on the back of my fold down seats...I know they should be mounted as designed for heat reasons but I dont know if this would effect it??

well the top part is actually the heatsink itself ... or atleast it sure looked like it when i looked at my guts

If you are mounting it upside down I would suggest a fan in the mounting surface it is mounted under so that air circulates over the heat-sink.

I was planning on making the plexi panel and mounting at least one LED computer fan into the panel for cooling, Another question about the amp I had was, I know they are very efficient and will put less strain on my electrical than my viper that I had, Would I be ok with a yellow top under the hood and either a 160A or 200A alternator? Right now I have stock alt, stock batt and added a yellow in the back but I dont know if that will be alright for the sundown, Id rather not have an extra batt in the trunk if its not needed....
