mounting subs

How and what are you guys useing to mount your subs. The most i ever had was a 400 watt amp 15 years ago and now im building a 1500+ and useing sa12's, i just dont see screws beings adequate. ?

Screws still work just fine,on the basic install..T-nuts are used if youd like to spend a bit more,and feel a bit more secure @ partsexpress.com

Several other ways to mount subs by getting creative/endless..Im lazy,and still use screws,after 15+yrs:laugh:

LoL well then maybe I'll just use screws then. I saw the T nuts and moly inserts. Just figured wood screws were old school. :0.

If the woofers have any weight and are pointed downwards or if you expect to have a certain amount of pressure/volume with quite a bit of power on them then i will usually upgrade to the t bolts. But 95% of the time i just use screws unless it's a bigger system.

coarse thread drywall screws if NOT over tightened will be fine for your set up....
