Mounting Diameter - MB Quart PCE 216

Can someone give me the mounting diameter for the woofer in the MB Quart PCE 216's. I'm making some mounting rings out of MDF and cutting the original door locations on my Explorer to give me an exact fit.

I have them mounted in the original location with a home made adapter over top of the factory (metal) mounting rings that were ment for the OEM 5"x7" speakers.

Right now they look pretty ghetto, but they're covered up buy the trim panels so it doesn't matter too much, but I'm trying to get a better seal...

They are probably 165mm which equates to 6.6"....that is an educated guess having run PCE216's. Take away an inch for the cut out diameter and you're at 5.5".

Cool, thanks. I'll give it a try. I'm still loking for the tech sheet that came with them. I usually keep shit like that, but its not in my files any where...
