Mountaineer Man wants a horn, Mountaineer Man gets a horn...

The only thing I prefer american standard for is for when talking about height, weight, and speed of vehicles. Metric is so much more logical but I know height and weight because that's what I'm used to. When working physics problems or taking measurements of something, I want it to be metric.

anyone make this thing yet? :p

yeah, thats... probably a start... lol

got any more pics? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

going to start a thread with build photos, and maybe some results? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I took a lot of pics of us cutting but my camera ate them all except for that one and one other one of him and his his son. That's my friend Greg; he's the guy who let me use his table saw.

I have all the cuts but I had to go back to Orlando before I was able to start getting things together. I have lab until about 4:00 today so things probably won't really get moving until tomorrow. I'll take some more shots and make a new thread about it this afternoon.

I dont tink MM is going to make these!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

lazy bugger!!! lol

and they were even custom designed to fit his car! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

make me one for a kicker comp 12 for the great indoors....converted to standard with 50 watts of power.
ill build it and compare it to 80's 9 cube 6th order
It's much easier to make cuts with metric though. Try making a 20.42" cut with something that measures in 1/16 increments. It can be done, but it's so much easier in cm.

Except, my table saw doesnt have cm increments.

However, mine does 1/32".

But I could see the problem for some people.

I may have to give these horns a try sometime. To see what all the hype is about.

Yea, I just used a measuring tape when I used the table saw. With 1/32 increments, it could be easier but I would still rather just use a tape measurer in metric.

Soooo basically a horn is a sealed box inside a ported box?

Very interesting stuff........i may try to build one....does it work for all sizes..lets say a 8" Tang Band?

I like the idea of flat response.

Ill be sneakyly watching alllll these builds...he..he..he
