Motorized DVD with more than a 3 Band EQ?

Well I have about had it with my Pioneer Premier DEH-960MP. Absolutly love the functionality of it, but I have had way too many problems with it.

1. The all famous alternator whine that I have already had fixed, but came back.

2. CD's wont eject most of the time

3. Screen has lines that flicker every once in a while.

4. Now the motorized front plate wont go down all the way

5. Buttons no longer work!!!

So I was looking at getting a AVX-P8DVD, since its in my price range. But I noticed it only has a 3 Band EQ.. Started looking at the higher end ones, same.... I like Pioneer, even though they really screwed up bad on the dependibility of this deck, but I have had many others with no problem.

Are there any other fold out DVD's that is geared to Sound Quality rather than just the DVD?

Oh and the main reason why I want the fold out DVD is because since my truck sits so high, I am wanting to add a front camera and a rear back up camera. When I park my truck, I tend to only see roof tops of vehicles. I have bumped a few and I have also left my rear end hanging out because I think I am too close.

Another functionality is I will be installing a monitor for the rear passengers so it will need an output for an additional monitor aswell.

It sounds like you should get the tv and then buy a used cd player to do the eq and stuff or you could buy an equalizer for not too much.

Thats a great idea, however I am pretty much on a budget. I am still paying for the Pioneer 960 that was $700. Gotta love 20% apr department store credit cards... I also just spent $2500 on a lift kit and new tires for the ride...

So... Im pretty much wanting an all in one system that is at the touch of a button to adjust the EQ.

Oh and sorry for my stupidity... I have been out of the car audio world for quite some time. Im rather knowledgable on the subject

3 Band EQ is now what I would consider "great"

Check into Eclipse or Alpine. One of them has like a 7 band.

Or you could just get a separate equalizer outside of the actual head unit.

Wow, thats a rather nice deck. I have always wanted to own an Eclipse, but that deck is out of my price range.. Im looking in the $800's or so...

How much do seperate EQ's run and can I control them from the screen?
