anybody know the most powerful alt duralast makes? I'm adding a second alt to my car and want the most powerful alt i can get from AZ cause of the warranty and surplus of stores... if anybody knows what type of vehicle comes stock with a H.O. alt LMK

Since you're putting it on a GM look for an alternator like for a GM-based small RV, maybe? You know like one of the small Winnebagos but built on a Chevy or GMC pickup or van chassis? Know what I'm talking about? Those might have some pretty stout charging systems stock...

The one on my car when I got it was the stock Delco-Remy unit that the car came with.

My rewound lasted for a while untill I added another US-100 to my system, this was back when as a matter of fact

I'm not running that much juice.

600+ RMS on my monoblock and 450 + RMS on my 4ch the way it is currently configured. Obviously, those actual power levels would only be seen with the system going full tilt on a test tone, which it never is.
