What are the most efficient amps out there say at 1 ohm? The RF I'm running is like 63% efficient at 1 ohm but gets really hot. It's 86% efficient at 4 ohms which is pretty comparable to Mmats, AQ, DC and DD but some of those amps don't show their efficiency at 1 ohm so it's hard to compare even though the 4 ohm efficiency is pretty close.

no amps are 100% efficient. saz-2500 efficiency 86% @ 4 ohms. alpine PDX amps >90% @ 4 ohms
Obviously you haven't tried Sundowns. They are the best, most effcient amps ever made.

Horn would be the most efficient. Ported would be efficient and easier.

How I would approach it is install your new amplifier and start using it. Install a voltage gauge and if you see your voltage lowering then add...

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...

You don't need two amps. The speakers come with crossovers to help protect the tweeters.
