If I am going to drop $950 for a 2k amp, i want the fvker to do 2k @ 4 ohms

Thor,baby..1200 at 4ohms @ 14.4v, 2200 at 4ohms @ 16v, and 3200 at 4ohms @ 18v....5000 at 1ohm/18v

I have seen the colossus around for $650 ..1100 rms X 2 @ 2ohms...i doubt the XXV line is overrated, folks.

 
Tested power for your nine.1 is more like 1400+ you are making more power than you think it may have skewed your math for the efficiency.
Yeah, that's definitely a possibility. Looks like I'll be getting a KX2500.1 tomorrow.
