Most Efficient 2000w Amplifiers on the Market?

I am in search for the most efficient amplifier on the market that does around 2k watts @ 1 ohm. I am running a Nine.1 right now, and it has horrible efficiency at 68% I have read. I love the amp and it puts out great power, but it's just not efficient enough. I'm getting too much voltage drop and drawing too much current for the amount or power I'm getting.

Please help me in my search for a very efficient 2000w @ 1 ohm amplifier.

I was looking at T20001's from RF, and I've looked at M3's from DD, but both seem to put out a little more power than what I'm looking for and a little on the pricey side. I'm willing to throw down the money, but I'd like to make sure I'm getting great efficiency and a clean signal from my subs.

Thanks.

I know the RFs are pretty efficent as well as the DDs,both do over their rated power by a good bit(Ibelieve the M3 is capable of 3k+).I would take a look at Zapco,Kicker,JBL etc,I am sure there is someone else that will come in and offer u more help than I could.

Yeah, good call on the Kicker and JBL, I've looked on almost every major manufacturers' website, but most seem to be hesitant to post the efficiency %'s for their amps. I wish it was information that was easy to access...

Zapco seems to be a bit hard to find for a reasonable price.

I dont think u can really go by the rating anyway,I dont think 68% is that bad, most amps(class D) are between 70-80% IIRC.

I would really look in to the Kicker 2500

You're right, but it's definitely noticeable, especially in my application. I've hooked up one other amp that was rated at 1500w @ 1ohm and I got louder and less voltage drop with it, over my Nine.1, so that says a lot to me.

I'll look into this one and the Kicker 2500, thanks for the suggestions so far guys.

Any comments on the efficiency of the DD M2 or M3? Which line of Zapco is considered the most efficient?

Not positive about the Zapco, but for the price I really couldnt imagin it being inefficent.

This is the particular Zapco I was talking about and it is very underrated from what I have told.

And the price lol.

As far as the Kicker I can offer really world results via TypeRbass.

The first page is just everyone putting in their predictions. From page to on goes in the test results and I believe later in the thread they talk about the efficency,I really cant remember the efficency #s but for some reason I remember the Kicker being very efficent at a particular part of the test.

And the DDs which I havnt had a chance or money to fool with are said to be very efficent.
