Most effective speakers in a Q-logic kickpanel

I have a 1999 Mitsu Eclipse and I'm getting q-logic kickpanels, but they can only hold up to a 6 1/8" speaker.

What do you reccomend? I'm trying to keep it under 550 for amp+speakers

I currently have an MP-4028 kenwood HU, the clarion EQ744 equalizer, viper d1200.1 and a 15" RL-p.

I'm aiming for SQL leaning towards SQ.

they should fit up to 6.5" if not u can trim it a bit more. whichever speakers you choose to get i recommend reinforcing the kickpanels with either resign or dampening to stiffen it up, they're pretty flexible out of the box

Reinforcing would be a good idea. I would say go to a local car audio shop that sellsw higher end lines. look into infinity kappa perfects. although people say they can be 'bright' or 'harsh' it would be a good place to start.

If ur goin into more of sq just get some 5.25" comps and run them down to say 200hz. Then put some slammin midbasses in your door.

Just an idea.

Have you lookes into using raw drivers?
