^^^^CNC not necessary. Nice but not necessary. Once the original template is cut all the layers can be done one at a time with a template bit on a router table. Very tedious from there but fairly idiot proof. Now cutting the first template by hand...that's difficult.

You gotta figure some of the most beautiful works of all time in any medium were done well before computers and with nothing more than the most basic of hand tools. Its called craftsmanship and is being lost these days with the overreliance on CAD/CAM.

really making the first template is a mater of patience and a decent jig saw, lol.

since ones you cut the rough template sanding will probably will be you next step to get it to the right dimensions.

then like i said on my first post, it will be cake. well not really but yeah. lol.

of course having cnc router would make like 100000x easier. but for builders on a budget. a regular router will do.

i have actually been pondering on making my next HT enclosure in a template and router kind of way, wont be as complex as that one. but it will still be very interesting design.
