many people on here either haven't heard of these or haven't heard them. i myself haven't heard anything by them seeing as how most people in austin have junk system's and i don't get out much. anyway, are they new morel supremo's worth the 500 bucks they cost just for the tweets?? i know that focal has their utopia tweets that cost like what 400ish i think but i'm just curious if these are worth it or if anyone has heard them or anything.

Never heard them personally, and probably never will...I stay away from Sq comps...they smell a bit like fish eggs...

Not sure WTF the supremos are, but I just purchased a set of 6.5" hybrid components after auditioning them. Only cost me the equivalent of $350 USD, and sounded INCREDIBLE to my ears. I listen to alot of rock and heavier stuff where midbass is important. I stacked them up against the rockford FN qs, MB Quart QSDs, whatever alpine's top of the line is, etc..., and none could hold a candle to them (even at almost 3x the price). Very smooth and POWERFUL sounding mids.

I've used and installed the SR8.3's with the wr-4 midrange, and the SR6.2

They are by far one of the most natural systems one could find...

I have never heard of this supremo line, I'm assuming this is the stuff the new US line is starting to roll out with. If it follows in the footsteps of it's predecessors, it's good to go.

Give it a listen, it should likely be worth it.

They did a review of thes tweets in the oct 2002 issue of car audio and electronics and they got great reviews. You could check that out and make your own decision.

hehehehe. where do you think i read about them and then decided to see if anyone had heard of them or heard them. i myself am rather curious if 500 for a pair of tweets is really worth it??
