I am gonna upgrade my front stage and was looking at some morel components for $399.....are they good?......my local shop recommended them....ive never heard of them myself.....thanx for any input

not true. Some of their components lick balls. Be careful what you say when you have no idea on the model number.

yah but they always sound different installed.....theyre 5 1/4" components and they retail for $399.....not sure of the model yet but they looked like the Dotech MKII

Their raw drivers are having some HUGE QC issues in the DIY realm atleast right now (strange it is both US and Israel having issues... and I thought they weren't related lmao... newho) -- I'd stay away for a bit till things get fixed... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif -- better stuff for the money regardless if you were to ask me...

I like Morel drivers...i recommend you go heard some...

well you SHOULD listen to them, but morel in general is a very HIGH end company , there not known for making CHEAP products. I think they make the most expensive car audio tweeter in the market , think looked like an alien, think it was 500$???
