Morel FTMFW, I was thinking about doing the 9" elate but they just seemed like waaaaay too big of a hassle to fit in the door of my GTI. Are you going to buy the passive setup? If not look into a midbass and perhaps the supremo tweeter. I'm running Elate 6's and Supremo's in my car.

So far I have planned to run 6" 3 way Elates but possibly the 9" with the passive crossover (that's not included?) figured for the price it was. I know my install guy can get the 9" (techically an 8.75" according to the morel literature) to fit in the stock 6" location if my front doors.
