i love the rl-p's they're the tights subs i've owned and get d@mn loud. but i think i might be more of spl guy, because i would be willing to loose some of this sq if it was louder. i've got a couple things ive been running through my head...

or my buddy might be getting rid of a pair of bd1000's (both birthed aroud 1100w)

but right now i have 1400w@1 ohm and right around 5 to maybe 6 square feet NET. throw up some suggestions. i was wanting to take my car to some comps or something, but i just don't think this is loud enough to do it. i'm gonna try and have these babies metered saturday

Anyways, I say make the best with what you have. You have two AMAZING subwoofers. I'd put a BD1000 on each and port it as large as you can....like 6-8 cubes and 140 in^2 of port @35hz. that is the biggest 5ft^3 net 70in^2 port @ 35.

i'm gonna take the baffle off and make a fiberglass one that sits up, and invert the subs...hoping to gain around 1ft^3 that will bring me to 6ft^3 net @ around 32Hz.
