i have a jl12w0 running on a ma audio 400 watt amp and on the inside ive got 2 5.1/4 pioneers and iw as wondering why it sounds so loud from the inside but when i go outside its so soft i need more power help me

I've yet to see a good reason why you need more power. You said it's "so loud from inside"......that's all that matters.

FYI: We hate it when people judge how loud they are by how far away you can be heard.

yeah, when your blasting your bass goin through neighborhoods people in their house are goin to hear it and they can't help it cuz it's your fault your booming your bass and that will piss some people off, i don't mind people booming past my house but if u just get a system to show off how loud it is outside your car u got issues.

So make them sit inside your car and crank it. No need to be heard from the outside. Infact, turn up your volume to just below full, roll up all the windows, and make them sit inside of it. I haven't found one vehicle that couldn't get loud enough to make my ears hurt. If that's not good enough for you, hold their head right next to your speaker. It should be loud enough then.

That or a wall of subs right behind your seat. That's the ticket.

Didn't catch the edit. Haha. My cuz is running an F150 with a straight 6, he doesn't even run a glass pipe. It's still a quiet engine. Poor guy. But yeah, legal = good sometimes.
