More excursion from one?

Just a simple question, I have two audiobahn aw1208t's, and i am wiring them to two ohms... they are dual 2 ohm subs... But one sub has more excursion than the other... I know it must be wired wrong, but I dont know HOW it is wired wrong... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I checked many many times and it looks like I wired it exactly how it tells me to... Its bridged at 2 ohms... the second sub is moving more than the first one, indicating something is wrong on the first sub>

check the ohms on both subs, on both vc's.

my friend just came over w/ the same problem. he took it to a local shop

and they told him that is was his RCA's. then he brought it to me to diagnose.

the sub that was moving more....was blown.

Quite possible a blown sub will exert more. Also a leak in a sealed chamber will do stuff like that. If they tell you it's blown, insist on keeping the sub anyway. If you can't fix it cheap, play it til it dies.

i had 2 subs in a common chamber box. one blew, i actually did not noitce, till i saw that the good one had more excursion then the blown one, which moved along with the other sub, just not as much.
