Im not sure Im following your point.except that put on ranges from the mid 40's down to the upper 20's and he would be approaching tuning frequency. excursion would be less near tuning frequency thus "lower" would be equal or less excursion
I'll video a sweep on the rsd sometime and post a vid of excursion....it is noticeably less when I approach 24hz even with 1251wrmsJust go to ROE and make a sine sweep. 20-80hz is 2 octaves, it should show a noticeable change in excursion from end of the sweep to the other.

If by 24 hz you mean your tuning frequency, yes of course it will be noticeably less as you approach it.
