More excursion at higher notes?

Hmm i noticed with the song put on i got the exact same excursion throughout all the notes...

Shouldnt the lower notes have more excurson i think my subsonic is too high?

Assuming so, yes running a sweep should show a noticeable difference in excursion.

Im not sure Im following your point.

put on has, I think 4 notes that follow in order from high to low frequencies. the high would be above his tuning and the lower would be approaching his tuning frequency.

as you approach tuning frequency excursion becomes less.

edit: I can't find my info on song frequencies right now....I did analyze put on at one point:crap:

Just go to ROE and make a sine sweep. 20-80hz is 2 octaves, it should show a noticeable change in excursion from end of the sweep to the other.

I'll video a sweep on the rsd sometime and post a vid of excursion....it is noticeably less when I approach 24hz even with 1251wrms

If by 24 hz you mean your tuning frequency, yes of course it will be noticeably less as you approach it. That's saying the same thing as excursion will increase as your signal varies away from tuning.
