More DMM help

Ok i have been trying to set my amp up with a dmm at a 50 hz tone and no matter where i turn my gain to it jumps from like .018 to .022 volts and its getting annoying i dont know what to do. any help would be appreciated

call it 20 and be done with it.

but when my gain is at zero it reads the same as when its turned all the way up what does that mean

it reads the same when my amp gain is turned all the way down and turned all the way up, there is no change

sounds like it may be the amp. possibly the dmm

ya the amp isnt in the best condition but the dmm is brand new just bought it today. thanks tho

ya man it must be the amp i tested the DMM in my house outlet and it read 122 volts, now i have to get a new amp, just ugly
