More Cone less power or less cone more power?

SSDs need more power than that to really shine, Rs should work. I like the "wow" factor of having 4 12s, but 2 15s may be more affective in this situation. How much space do you have and how much are you willing to give up?

2 15" BLs should work really nice.

And your point? that had nothing to do with his question.
But anyway you cant tell whats gonna be louder its all based on the box and install worth. Usually more cone area means more output. BUT take alan dante for example, he was beating guys with 34 10's with 1 15 this year. Its about using your install skills and using your resources wisely.

well teh thread title says something about it less or more power, and he lists the same 2.5kw for both setups.....so its not out of line to point that out.

although this issue COULD be solve by using the search button, god knows that isnt going to happen....its all on the install man....

More motors...

I had 6 SSD10's and 4kw... they were getting ~600watts a piece (900rms rated)...

Even though they were "underpowered"... it was louder than say... my single BTL15 with rated power...
