more computer problems..mostly internet

my Linksys router is cutting out a crazy number of times....last night while i was asleep it cut out and came back on 27 times...and now when i try to watch .RAM files through Real Player for my online class it turns off every time and needs to be reset by pulling the power plug...

any idea whats going on and if i can fix it without having to go out and buy another router?

update firmware on rtr

if all else fails

throw it away

instead of wasting your time here on the forum. call the router manufacture.. they will assist you better.

^What he said. This will also help you determine whether the ethernet cable is bad.

etheret cable isnt bad....apparently my router is just crap...

another thing...when im playing large movies mostly Divx, i get a slight "skipping" while its playing, your still able to watch but it is somewhat jumpy....i never had this problem in the past, any idea whats causing it.
