More BASS up front!

I'm planning out my audio system, and I have all of the equipment except for my front and rear deck speakers. I'm leaning toward MB Quartz for my fronts (Q-series). I want to find out if there is any possibile way to get more bass in front. I subscribe to Car Audio & Electronics (CA&E) magazine and read that it is a common problem for most car audiophilies. I have seen a car like mine with 8 in. (I believe) mid bass speaker in the center console where the ash try is located.

I'm wondering do I need a small mono amp for it if I do go with this idea? Maybe the 3-way MB Quartz with kick panels.

an RE8($56) in a small sealed enclosure with a mono amp would do it.
