its not blown, coils both read ~2.0ohms a peice. it makes a wierd almost overexursion slapping sound when i play at high volumes. what could be the issue?

its definately not clipping. ive had this setup for a solid couple of months with no issues. and i would even say the box is to small, and tuned to high. its 2.0 cf tuned to 40hz. it only just started doing this last night.

Anyway to get a video of the noise? Then perhaps a video of the sub pulled out and checking the suspension and such?

i was thinking tinsel slap, but they look fine, and let me go take a closer look at the spider

my subs do the same thing when I try to turn the gain up.

Your box is too "efficient" most likely.

the spider looks fine. and dorry dustin i dont have any videos cause i took it out of my car to look at it, but it does make the unloading sound, but it even happens when i play 36 hertz, and it should be able to handle that in my box, and it has for the past couple months. im lost. lol
