AGM FTW!
I was wondering what you guys thought about the Monster Cable M1 Product.
I was about start researching the recommended gauge for my new build and I remembered I have a set of Monster M1 from a previous Eosone home theater project.
These things are 10-12' long, I guess I was thinking the longer the run the more signal loss....Maybe my satellite installing days are overshadowing my judgment //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I'm installing an eD 13av.2 to a Nakamichi Mono block running 1200W RMS @ 1ohm
I also have the Monster X-terminator banana connectors as well.
Should I consider adding a banana patch panel to my Starr Mountain Enclosure when it arrives for easy plug unplug or are the screw down connectors going to be the recommended choice for a better mechanical connection?
Should I be using a run of this since I have it on hand?
Will I be defeating the purpose of using a nice run of speaker wire if I don't use something as good for my connection from the sub itself into the back of the speaker wire patch cable on the inside of the box?
What should I run here?
I have another 10' run of the M1 but I have a feeling that's not what I should be putting in the box too.
I'll already have a 60lb. woofer in there and extra 10lbs and 10' of wire prob isn't needed for a 2' connection from sub to wiring plate.
Thanks for you input.
