mono or multi channel?

a mono amp will often be more efficient since it uses class D topology. This means it will draw less current and allow less strain on your electrical. So technically you can run more power with a mono amp as opposed to less power on a multi-channel while pulling the same current.

Unless you're talking about a 5ch. to run the entire system, then that's another story
