what would you compare the monitor's to? I can't find any info on them.

I have a set of the Monitor Audio's. I had the same problem of trying to find some info on them. Here is a link to a thread where I asked for some info:

The Kars require a "break-in" period just like Monitor Audio's home speakers. I've just finished running them in for 100 hrs and they are sounding very good. I'm not sure you would need to run them in for that long though. I didn't notice any significant change in sound after the first 24 or so hours of continuous play.

Compared to the Morel Integra's in my truck which are very smooth, almost "mellow", the Monitor's have a crisper, livelier sound. They are "brighter" than the Morel's, actually they are just what I was looking for.

The midbass is strong and hits with authority.

Now to get them out of the spare bedroom and into my car!

how much power were you feeding the idq? would it take 400?

The IDQ was getting 300 off an Xtant amp. 400 is no problem for the IDQ just don't crank the gains up.

I need to buy a knock sensor or get my sunroof put in since mine is broken so any money right now would do the trick.
