That's...a lot of money....lol

You can easily hook yourself up with a good system.

As to what - I have NO idea. I'm out of that price range //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

hey what part of texas are you from...as soon as you put a good system in there i will be the first to rob you....2800???? u will have the world after you:eek: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

My friend installed all JL Evolution speakers in his blazer and they sounded great. He also has the new sony XAV-7W Reviever matched with a sony 10 Disc DVD/CD Changer. I cant remember exactly what kind of amps he is using, but they arent anything special and everything sounds **** good. As far as your system goes, I would go with the JL speakers all around and also invest in W7 subs and JL amps. You cant really go wrong there...

Your head unit choice is good, I would stick with that.

I would go with some high quality components up front like :

focal utopias ( I have them and love em)

dynaudios

cdt audio

if you dont want to spend too much money

ID chameleons are good.

as for rear fill, its up to you how much you wanna spend back there. I would go as cheap as possible, **** the backseat passengers :p

I would go with a nice 4 channel amp. I just happen to be selling my Brax x2400 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D

but I dont know if you want to spend that much.

You could always go with their lower line, helix. Excellent amplifiers.

could go

PPI

Xtant

soundstream

those are all in your price range.

for subs, what do you want to do? how many? how loud? ported/sealed?

2800 is a good bit to spend on a system up front, then you look at the fact that the head unit and changer are going to cost a good portion of that. Personally? If I could make the whole world listen to Orion I would, however you may end up stepping out of that price range you are looking at if you stepped into that class. However checking out the XTR and XTRPRO line may be a good way for you to so. I would however NOT sugest going with a 4 channel amp if you are on a decent budget such as $2800 or so and can spend a little bit to get a high current amp for subs and a decent amp for mid/highs.

I ended up spending WAY off from 2800 tho and if you really want to stay in that budget......keep in mind money for install kits, wood, caulk, fiberglass etc......Gotta be able to affod to install it all once you buy it right? LOL

2 RE SE 12's, 2.5cubes each ported 30hz, one RE 35.1, good 4ch amp (zapco, pg, even usacoustic would be fine about 75x4), front comps CDT HD 62 you'll need build outs...may want to settle for the Classics, and then just normal 6x coax in the rear doors...bangin...and clean...

see ya

oh yeah...i don't run dash speakers...they don't sound very good up there unless you are riding with windows down and such....if you were to put some up there...i'd put them on a separate amp that you could shut off when the windows are up...

as for the subs, i just want a good spl-sq mix i dont care about number, size,.....

heres what i came up with so far it went a bit over 2800 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

h/u etc.

pioneer 9400mp

audiocontrol 3.1

disc changer

pioneer cdx-p670

dash

infinity kappa 462.5cfp

front stage

cdt audio hd-642dt

concept cc-1252

rear stage

cdt audio cambria cax-693

concept cc-504a (will power dash speaks to)

subs

2 image dynamics idmax12d2

concept cc-d2400a (running at 1 ohm, 1200 w to each sub)

power

optima d750u $150

(2) phoenix gold titanuim xc10

200 amp alt

i know you shouldnt have dash speakers unless you drive with your windows down, i will rig up something so i can turn the dash speaks off when i feel like driving with the windows up.....the id max will be slot ported

and tuned around 30 hz, sound ok?

i am willing to change amps i like concept cus of 1 ohm stable for a long time, i want em all matching cus of the custom amp rack i am prepaired to build
