MOJO 4kw benched?

Has anybody benched one at normal voltage levels? Just wondering what it will do in a real world app i.e. 13-13.5 volts, 1 ohm, 2 ohm? Also, efficiency, and current draw?

iirc soemthing like 4kw at 14v.....4.4kw at 16v...all 1 ohm nominal

200 amp alt. Yellow top up front, 2 Kinetik 2400's in the trunk and a Kinetik 2000. At start up idle is 14.4 Time of test voltage was at 13.9 Burping a 49hz tone I was dropping in the high 12's after a few burps I was dipping to 12.0 and then I decided that was enough of that. I do not recall the rise. Maybe by some chance if TOMMYK stops in he may remember. This was a while ago so i wouldn't count on it. Sorry I could not be of more service.

Yes, I've heard that. I'll be running a 250 amp alt, stock batt under the hood for now, 2 g34 blue tops in the rear, amp running at 1.5 ohm. I think I'll be okay with that setup.

Yep, will be fine with that setup. The older model 4K will do 3-4k at 14.4V. Some people claim ridiculous numbers like 8KW at 16V but I don't think so. Output section in 4K is more like what is in most 3K rated amps, but the power supply is like what is in 5-6K rated amps so even it were pushed to the max outputs would likely blow.

Low voltage doesn't kill Memphis 4K's vibration does.

In my investigations, I have seen claims that are all over the place as far as what causes them to blow. On termpro I saw people saying they were dropping to 10ish volts, yet others are saying below 12 and you're in trouble. Thanks for chiming in db-r, I appreciate it.

Man i heard that alot, but i seen my friends first hand below 11 and .5....guess he just got lucky

It drawssss some current.

But we got like 4300 outta it at .33 nominal and i think rising to 1.1ish......cant remember voltage on that one

He had 6 2400s , and a 220 alt

It puts out some power for sure, but too give an idea of efficiency or clean power, when we tested back to back with a 40.1, the 40.1 put out a lil bit less power(or the same) but always a higher score.
