MOFO15 or SX15

thinking about getting the mofo15 brand new instead of my used sx15... it sounds good but doesn't hit the low notes well as i'd like... i want a sub that'll be a bit louder, hit pretty well, and can take 1200+ rms daily... anyone thinking the mofo'll do that for me???

(i'm running the sx with a concept 1200.1 if that helps, SQ is moderately important but i would rather have a sub that can take a lot of abuse)

For the price, the MOFO15 really rocks. How much will you be paying?

Have you had a look at the SS TARANTULA T4-15?

the mofo wont hit the lows better than an SX i would imagine, the sq on it is worst from what i have heard, only way to get lower is to go with a sub like XXX, Rlp, Avalanch, brahma, along the lines of those

go with a bramaha. That will hit the lows.

If i want a straight spl driver, what 15" will give me more boom than an sx? (that can take 1200+rms and a bit of clipping)

The re mt 15 will be louder than the sx, and can take way more abuse.

off 1200 an SX will get louder than Mt, no sub wants clipping

i know but at 1 volume interval over 3/4's with the gains set right, my sx starts to pop a bit... my other subs handled very moderate clipping like a trooper... the sx doesn't even handle a little...

mmats dreadnaught 15, or memphis mojo. Both will also more than likely get louder. I know the mojo will for sure. Ide go with either of those, and you wouldnt be dissapointed. the mmats is rated for 1000rms, but can handle more, and ive personally see the mojo be ran from 700-2000rms, and it performs great.

that dosent sound right about your SX becaus ei know it can handle some nice watts, but its got something to do with something, i just wish i knew what that something is

I would double check all wiring, and the gain, which seems to be the issue.

it only does it with one song thats all, but it shouldn't bottom out at all

The MOFO is evil, and from my experience, will take it daily. I fed it everything I had.

If you are taking suggestions The Fosgate T2. You would simply love it. And it can take plenty of abuse.
