well, not too sure. Again i have never heard the FBX series. But i heard from other people on this forum that the sound quality is much better than compared to the mofo's but the mofo's are much louder than the fbx's.

yes. Look at your vehicles manual. It should say what kind of alt you have. most cars today have a 100-120 amp alt. If your gonna install a powerful system, you'll need a new alt or you'll have electrical problems. You need a new battery as well. Preferably a Yellow or red top battery. Red tops are meant for starting and the yellow tops are for deep cycle and starting. I'd recommend the yellow top.

yes the FBX is a SQ orriented sub. More so than the MOFO.
