I looked up the definitions of slander, libel, defamation, shoddy workmanship, and negligence. Oh, and price gouging.

Basically, 'talking shit' only turns into slander, libel, or defamation when in includes facts that can be proved false.

i have seen some people in the right get sued for slander basically its the $$ people saying we have more than you and this will shut you up unless you have money for a lawyer lol and yes i even seen it over something as stupid as a car door ..(actually was a whole car door lol). they do this without real intent to go to trial but rather to hush you up also depends how big a jerk the people are.

And they didn't sand the paint off the chassis where they made my ground.

Upon closer inspection, the broken trim is broken because a screw wasn't removed.

Um no. The thread was brought back before I replied in it. I didn't realise it was brought back from the dead until I posted and continued. As you can see above, 3 people replied in this thread before me today. The post was just non-serious banter as indicated by the emoticon. For others;

Nothing happened, I couldn't get ahold of Mark Passmore, I reinstalled everything myself, my domain expired and the pics are gone, and I gave the duct-taped speakers to my girlfriend.

The shop is still a piece of shit, and everytime I dig a little deeper in my car I find more shoddy work. The ground was a centemeter long rusty self-tapping screw stuck in the pan under the seats; I took it off to put a longer lead on it, only to find that none of the paint was even scraped off (let alone sanded.)

What is your choice of local shops then?

Honestly, I have seen Mobile Electronics put out the best work of all of the stores locally. Unlimited Audio may be better, but I have yet to see many finished products.
