MMATS d300hc Help

I have a Mmats D300HC with (1) 10" Kicker L7 (dual 4's), which currently is wired to draw from my amp at 2ohms.

I want to upgrade to (2) 10" L7's but I only want to have to buy one new speaker. Can my Amp run at 1OHm? I realize it is only rated at 2, but does anybody out there have any personal experience with running them like ur not supposed to and getting away with it?

ifs its a 1ohm amp it will work fine at one ohm but if its a 2ohm amp it will put out more watts than what the amps made for which will cause it to overheat or fry.take it from me i've done it,mine lasted a few days tho...........

For that amp, I would say its fine. People burp them at real low impedences.

yes. but keep the voltage up.

That amp is capable of drawing over 180amps, make sure you have the power supply to back it up, if not the voltage will drop too low and the amp will blow.
