MLB 2021

I watched that game as it was against the white sox trust me his stuff wasn't anything special if he was using something it wasn't working. If anything they were inspecting one part of it as if a certain part of the leather lacing was raised and if it is raised part enough as the announcers were saying or more specifically steve stone said they can use it to scuff a ball which of course will change how it is thrown.

Still busted that's why he got ejected and his glove confiscated. You can tell by the look on his face that he knew he got caught

No really? As I said I was watching him pitch today the entire time. It is automatic to get ejected when they are suspicious or think that something is off on the glove or a substance found. This one wasn't a substance from what all the cameras showed. They were questioning it so he was thrown out, glove confiscated and sent to be examined. We will see what happens if he is suspended or what they find on the glove.

Ummm, you sure took the long way to agree with me and my post bro.

All four umpires agreed that it was a sticky substance on the inside heel of the glove. The pitcher is saying that it was a mix of rosin and sweat. And just because a pitcher is using a sticky substance it doesn't mean that he is going to pitch good that day. MLB will do testing on the glove to see what it is. FWIW, the pitcher sounded pretty confident that it was just rosin and sweat.

Rosin on the inside of a his glove hand isn't illegal as far as I can remember. Pitchers go and grab rosin then grab and put it on the baseball all the time.

If he was using it inside the glove on his non throwing hand idk if it is such a big deal. As I said I watched the game and trust me it didn't help any. You can see a difference in some of these guys who were using that new sticky stuff and hiding vs now where they are getting checked all the time.

Heck one of Seattle's pitchers lost control and smacked Abreu with a 96mph fastball right on the side of his knee. He immediately fell to the ground rolling around in immense pain. Idk how many more of our guys can get injured because at this point it is a miracle we are still in 1st place and providing a good team to watch. We gotta pick up a couple guys via trade though a 2nd basemen and another outfielder as well.

Just because guys use sticky stuff it doesn't mean that they will be great pitchers. Just like steroids didn't turn everybody into Babe Ruth. You can't see a difference in guys using sticky stuff or not, that's just ridiculous. The pitchers got caught because of the new spin rate analytics. This sticky stuff isn't anything new. People knew something was up when Verlander went from Detroit to Houston years ago. And who was also on Houston, Gerrit Cole. When Verlander got to Houston his spin rates immediately increased.

The verlander comment isn’t exactly accurate. You can check his spin rates from Detroit to Houston. His change up spin rate actually dropped and his fastball spin rate is about the same and slider spin rate did increase. If you also remember, he was a beast in Detroit but towards the end, his mechanics were off. When he went to Houston, they worked on his mechanics and his old self came back. I’m not saying he wasn’t using anything as I’m pretty sure he has been for a while but to blame it on Houston isn’t accurate. Bauer bitched and complained constantly and look at his spin rates lately.

Like I said before, it sucks to be a pitcher. MLB has been juicing the ball and taking away the laces for years. I hate manfred

Fiers, Cole, and Verlander all in Houston at the same time. People have been doctoring the baseball for decades if not a century, but Houston was very blatant about it and didn't hide it very well. The advent of analytics really brought it all the cheating to light. The spin rates don't lie. This picture was from years ago.

To bad I'm the only one that knows anything about anything on this f*cking retard site. It's like watching Saturday morning cartoons here. Losers.
