Oh, im not saying that they haven't, but attempting to defraud USPS or any other shipping company IS NOT the way to get revenge. Also, if you attempt to defraud USPS it will be considered a federal crime.

It sounds like now you're sure it's messed up. If it honestly was working when you shipped it I wouldn't do anything until you see proof that it's not working properly. Do NOT lie to USPS.
