mixing amps?

i am planning on getting more than one sub, but the amp i have would only be able to push 2 subs. and i plan on getting more than 2. so, what is a good rule of thumb on amps? is it best to get the same amp to match the other? or could i get another class D and that should be good? thanks

ya either get matching amp or a bigger amp.

agreed with GPGT. same amp or you wont get the same power even if it is rated the same
