Minimum RMS wattage to drive Peerless XXLS subwoofers

I would like to check out Peerless 835017 12" Aluminum Cone XXLS Subwoofer. Unfortunately, there is only 4ohm version. My amp will provide only 160watts for 4ohm loads. I have done some SPL modeling and it seems like this sub will run just fine. (Same SPL, I get from another 2ohm sub running on 250watts RMS). Just curious about your experience with it. Another possibility is to buy a 500watt RMS (at 4ohm) amplifier, but I would preferably not spend more money.
